Version 2.0 - Flashback Peek - Associative and Opposing Word Pairs - Compact Size 5.5x8 (same size as DBT 1.0)
It's the actual book! Perfect bound, printed on heavy white paper stock.
The size of the book is standard 5 x 8, and will fit nicely next to other books on your shelf. We chose a smaller size to mix up the sizes of the various books we produce so they don't all look exactly the same. As with other book tests we create, Sherlock Holmes is designed, in every way, to look and feel just like any other book sold in the market. You'll not be able to tell the difference, anymore than your audience will. And best of all, the gimmick is woven into the text itself in such a way that it is entirely readable, from front to back, before and after the show. In our view, it's 100% examinable.
It's also incredibly easy to use, right out of the package. Open it up, read the directions, and watch our downloadable instructional video—then try it out.
The method is based on our original associative and opposing word concept, and has been strategically placed to work with the flash back principle throughout the entire book. There are no other book tests this easy, this affordable, and this recognizable on the market—except ours. If you have Dracula 2.0, Persuasion, or Frankestein then you already know how to use this book test.
The presentation is just as simple as using the book. Have someone casually examine the book. Take it back. Riffle through the pages and have them stop when they want. Peek the opposite page and you know the word they're looking at. It's that easy. It only takes a fraction of a second and you're all set. Hand it back out and go into your routine. Done. Bamm!
You look like a genius. They can't believe it. Soon you're booked to entertain kings in foreign countries who have lots of oil, and they pay you lots of cash. It's good to be you. And all because you bought our book test.

Been searching for a book test that was simple but effective and did not involves hours of having to remember stuff. I also like you can repeat the trick and the audience member can hold on to the book and browse through it-you can read the book normally! Top notch!!!

I have received fantastic feedback on this book. It can be used for walk around, parlor and stage and is 100% inspect-able. Since I already have the Sherlock inductive booktest and use it in my act, I keep this one on my shelf at work and it blows my students and coworkers away. I think any performer would really enjoy performing this effect.
Sherlock himself would be left clueless!
